Originating from raw South African bovine horn, La Mosaïque Noire is conceived as a canvas of controlled contrasts — where natural material is guided by geometry, where artisanal craftsmanship meets contemporary design thinking, and where light touches the depth of darkness.

 

Unlike traditional horn inlay techniques, this collection employs a trapezoidal mosaic pattern. Each horn fragment is meticulously hand-cut and arranged in a rhythmic geometric composition, creating a surface with remarkable visual depth, where tonal variations continuously shift with changing light and viewing angles.

 

The horn’s natural hues — ranging from ivory and honey gold to lustrous black — are preserved, highlighting a bold yet refined contrast. Every detail is not merely decorative, but the result of hundreds of hours of handcrafting, demanding precision, patience, and exceptional artisanal skill.
